Tampa Bay Jewish Food Festival Slated For Sunday

CLEARWATER, FL -- If you've never tried a knish or kugel, you're in for a treat.
The Tampa Bay Jewish Food Festival will take place Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Temple B'nai Israel, 1685 S. Belcher Road. Clearwater.
The festival is a celebration of Jewish food and culture. This day-long, annual event features Jewish foods including Carnegie Deli corned beef and pastrami, falafel, potato latkes, knishes, bagels with lox, matzoh ball soup, blintz, chocolate babka, honey cake, rugalach, hamantashen, chocolate chip mandelbrot and more. Three Daughters Brewing of St. Petersburg will be on hand with craft beer.

Local Jewish agencies will be in attendance to educate the community about their missions.
There will be vendors lined up outside, Jewish music with choirs from local synagogues performing, a giant tent for eating, a safe child zone, educational lectures and demonstrations.

Admittance is free but the festival will be accepting donations of canned foods for its pantries.
