Tampa Man Killed In Jet Ski Collision Off Courtney Campbell

CLEARWATER, FL – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating a fatal jet ski accident near the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

According to the FWC, two jet skis collided on Sunday, May 6 in the waters off the causeway.

Alberto Portales Fernandez, 42, of Tampa sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa where he later died.

Helen Gore, 41, of Clearwater, was taken to Tampa General Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
