Tarpon Springs Man Who Drove On Causeway Path Charged With DUI

Clearwater Police arrested a Tarpon Springs man when he drove his car on the recreational path that runs alongside Memorial Causeway.

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police officers arrested a 28-year-old Tarpon Springs man shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday when they said he drove his car on the recreational path that runs alongside Memorial Causeway.

Police said Tyler Keenan narrowly missed multiple pedestrians and bicyclists while driving on the path. He ran from his car after it came to a stop and was caught by officers in the city marina.

He was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and resisting an officer without violence.
