Threat Shuts Down Tyrone Square Mall
Police surrounded the mall and shut down the entrances but quickly cleared the scene after determining no danger was posed to the public.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Shoppers at the Tyrone Square Mall in St. Petersburg got a scare Sunday afternoon when police surrounded the shopping center and blocked off entrances. However, the closure didn’t last long, and police concluded there was no danger posed to the public.
According to the St Petersburg police Department, a threat to the mall was sent into the department's emergency communications center Sunday afternoon, but no threat was found. The department issued a statement at 5 p.m. Sunday, clearing the scene.
"We responded immediately and did not find a threat or anyone hurt, however we are proceeding with the utmost caution," the department announced. "The mall has resumed normal operations and will remain open for its normal operating hours."

Just saw 6-8 cop cars speeding toward Tyrone/Best Buy, please be careful if you're around there, would avoid area if you can. Sounds like they're blocking entrances to Tyrone Square Mall.
