The Threshers most reliable hitter all year long, Darin Ruf, again provided the offensive punch. His 16th homer of the year put the Threshers in front in the first inning. The Creighton alum knocked in a run in the fifth with his league leading 39th double of the season.
Brody Colvin allowed only three runs in six complete innings. His four walks compared to three strikeouts are not numbers that will impress the Phillies brass.
