Threshers Lose Third In A Row To Stone Crabs
Jak-Ju Lee goes 3-4 in leading Charlotte to a 5-0 victory.

The Charlotte Stone Crabs improved their best record in the Florida State League to 13-8 with a 5-0 victory of the Clearwater Threshers on Friday (July 15).
Charlotte's sensational young shortstop Jak-Ju Lee single handedly won this game. After striking out in the first, he singled in the third inning, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt, stole third and scored on a sacrifice fly.
In the fifth, the 20 year old from South Korea, doubled, stole third and scored on a sacrifice fly.

In the seventh he singled again and eventually scored on another sacrifice fly.
Lee was the number four prospect in the Chicago Cubs organization before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in the Matt Garza deal. He is third in the FSL in batting average (.329) and second in hits.

The Threshers (9-12), down by three entering the sixth wasted an excellent opportunity to get back in the game.
Jiwan James opened the inning with his second hit of the night, only to be picked off first. Two walks later, All Star catcher Sebastian Valle singled to load the bases. However, third baseman Jeremy Barnes would ground into a double play ending the threat.
