Tourist's Body Recovered A Mile West Of Pier 60 In Clearwater
The body of a missing swimmer was found at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, a mile west of Pier 60 off Clearwater Beach.

CLEARWATER, FL -- The body of a missing swimmer was found at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, a mile west of Pier 60 off Clearwater Beach.
She's been identified as 40-year-old Allison Nicole Sullivan of Morristown, Tennessee. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Dunedin Fire Rescue, the Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission began searching the waters after a call came in at 3:30 a.m. that at woman was missing after going swimming behind the Holiday Inn at 521 S. Gulfview Blvd.
