After just two years of offering SBA loans, USAmeriBank also now ranks among the nation’s leaders
CLEARWATER, Fla. (October 30, 2013) -- A new ranking of Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) lenders of all sizes lists USAmeriBank as the leading Tampa Bay-based lending institution for SBA 7(a) loans in fiscal year 2013.
As of September 30, USAmeriBank had $26.6 million in SBA loans approved since September 2012, placing it above all Tampa Bay-based banks, and at No. 5 in the SBA’s South Florida district, which includes 116 SBA lenders.

USAmeriBank has grown its SBA lending quickly since making its first SBA loan in September 2011, with the loan volume in fiscal year 2013 roughly doubling the volume of the previous year. The bank now ranks among the nation’s leaders in SBA lending: For fiscal year 2013, USAmeriBank ranks 95th out of 2,345 SBA lenders nationally, based on its dollar volume of loans.
