CLEARWATER, FL — A homeless man probably thought he hit pay dirt when he found a luggage claim check at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill in Clearwater. His luck quickly turned, however, when the family who owned the luggage called Clearwater police to report they saw a man riding a bike wearing their stolen clothes.

Police arrested Mark Brienza Saturday after security camera footage from the hotel the family was staying at showed Brienza picking up their luggage using the claim ticket he'd found.

Brienza apologized to the family and told them where they could find their luggage and the other items they'd packed, saying he "felt bad after he realized the items were for an entire family."
