Vandals Cause Thousands Of Dollars In Damage To Golf Course

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police are seeking the vandals responsible for thousands of dollars in damage to the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation Golf Course at 3030 N. McMullen Booth Road Tuesday.

In the hours just before sunrise, someone drove in circles over multiple acres on the course, causing an estimated $2,000 to $5,000 in damage, according to golf course officials.

The Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation is a nonprofit public-private partnership that seeks to improve children's academic performance, self-esteem, and character using the golf course as a living classroom.
