VIDEO: Police Ask For Help ID'ing Wallet Theft Suspect
Police are looking for the suspect they say eventually gave the wallet back, but kept the cash inside.
CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing a man's wallet at Walmart. A man accidentally dropped his wallet, and the suspect picked it up and walked away, police say.
The man's girlfriend followed the suspect out of the store, at 23106 US Hwy. 19 N., and took the video below.
The suspect eventually gave the wallet back, police say, but kept the cash inside.
