Tampa Bay area residents who aren’t fans of the cold might be able to breathe easier knowing warmer weather is just around the corner.
According to the National Weather Service, the chilly conditions from the weekend are about to pass, at least for a few days. While Monday’s high will only climb to about the mid-70s, the 80s are anticipated to make a return Tuesday. Lows Monday will drop down into the mid-50s or so while overnight hours Tuesday are expected to reach the mid-60s. Wednesday should be the warmest day of the week with a high in the mid-80s expected and overnight lows around 65.
Things begin to change again on Thursday, however. Forecasters are calling for a slight chance of rain during the daytime hours with a high in the low-80s expected. Overnight Thursday rain chances climb and the low should hit the mid-60s mark.
