Boil Water Notice Lifted In Clearwater After Water Main Break

A boil water notice was lifted for residents in Island Estates, Clearwater Beach and parts of Sand Key after a water main was ruptured.

CLEARWATER, FL — A boil water notice for residents of several Clearwater neighborhoods has been lifted after crews working in Coachman Park accidentally struck a water main on Oct. 27.

The rupture resulted in low and no water pressure for customers on Island Estates, Clearwater Beach and parts of Sand Key. As a precaution, residents were cautioned to boil all water used for cooking and drinking.

The city said laboratory results show the water is safe to drink in all areas of Clearwater.
