City of Clearwater offices, recreation centers and libraries will be closed for New Year's Day on Friday, Jan. 1.

CLEARWATER, FL — City of Clearwater offices, recreation centers and libraries will be closed for New Year’s Day on Friday, Jan. 1.
The Solid Waste & Recycling Department will close New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. All solid waste and recycling collections that are usually made on Thursday’s collection days Dec. 31 will be collected Dec. 30. All solid waste and recycling collections that are usually made on Friday’s service days Jan. 1 will be collected on Thursday, Dec. 31. Residents with questions can call the Solid Waste Operations Line at 727-562-4920.
All branches of the Clearwater Public Library System will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, and will be closed New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.

All Clearwater recreation centers will close at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, and will be closed New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
The Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex will be closed New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1.
