What's Open, Closed In Pinellas County On 4th Of July 2022

Pinellas County announces government closures for the Fourth of July.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections.

Parks & Conservation Resources

The Parks & Conservation Resources administrative office, Heritage Village and education centers will be closed. Both education centers will have regular operating hours Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but will be closed on Sunday, July 3.

County parks and the outdoor areas of the county preserves will remain open. Beach and boat ramp parking permits can be purchased online. 

Human Services

Pinellas County Human Services offices will be closed.

Building Services

Pinellas County Building Services will be closed, and inspections will not take place.

Sixth Judicial Circuit Courts

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

Solid Waste Disposal Complex

The Solid Waste Disposal Complex will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday; however, the Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3) will be closed.

Animal Services Shelter

The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.
