Senior Prom for Seniors Takes Place at Overture Doral

High school seniors aren't the only ones going to their senior prom this year. So are actual seniors.

Prom season is typically associated with high school students, but teenagers aren't the only ones who got to enjoy prom this year.

The evening of June 19, seniors who reside at Overture Doral, a 55+ apartment complex on NW 85th Avenue in Doral, attended a prom of their own. The theme for the event was Masquerade, and featured an elegant evening full of glamour and sophistication.

For some the senior prom offered a chance for a do-over. For others it was their first prom ever. The event was held in the community’s Bistro and restaurant area. Live entertainment was provided by a tenor singer.
