• This taco spot that started in Miami Beach has closed its Coral Gables location (miamiherald.com) — Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has shut its Coral Gables spot on Miracle Mile after just two and a half years, following a farewell party in July. Other Bodega locations in Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and Hard Rock Stadium remain open, so fans can still find their tacos and cocktails elsewhere.
   

• Man accused of drunk driving in crash that killed sleeping 82-year-old faces judge (local10.com) — A Coral Gables man remains jailed after a judge again denied bond in a DUI case tied to a deadly June crash just outside the city. Investigators say his SUV ran a stop sign on Palermo Avenue, slammed into a home and killed an 82-year-old man who was asleep inside.
   

• Couple Accused of Looting Home of Victims Killed in Crash (newser.com) — Police say a Coral Gables couple's home was burglarized shortly after they died in a helicopter crash abroad, with valuables and luxury vehicles reported stolen. Two suspects were arrested after investigators traced a stolen laptop to Hialeah, and a judge has ordered one held without bond while the other remains jailed on an immigration hold.
