Robbers Tried to Order Lyft, Make ATM Withdrawal and Shop With Stolen Bank Cards
The transactions were declined but police now have a photo of one of the suspects.

COCONUT GROVE, FL — Police are asking for the public's help in finding thre suspects who robbed two men at gunpoint along Frow Avenue and Margaret Street and then attempted to order a Lyft, shop at Neiman Marcus and make an ATM withdrawal with the stolen bank cards.

The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Jan. 27.

While all of the transactions were declined, police now have a surveillance image of one of the suspects. Police released the image in the hope that someone will recognize the suspect.

"During the course of the robbery, one of the offenders pointed a black handgun as he demanded victim one to hand over his wallet," explained Officer Yelitza Cedano of the Miami Police Department. "The victim, in fear for his life, emptied out his pockets and handed his wallet to the offender. Simultaneously, offender three demanded the property from victim two, but he was not carrying anything on his person."
Cedano said that the thieves attempted to use the stolen bank cards at a nearby Bank of America and at a Neiman Marcus store in Coral Gables.
Finally, the desperate thieves tried to order a LYFT, according to Cedano.
The three suspects are described as black males between 16 to 18 years old. One is approximately 5 feet seven inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with dark skin and a short haircut, 150 to 160 pounds and last seen wearing a red t-shirt with black pants.
Another suspects is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds and last seen wearing a black hoodie with dark pants and a hospital mask over his face.
The last suspect also has dark skin, approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds and last seen wearing a gray hoodie.
