The City of Coral Gables is launching an exciting new project, a cookbook, titled A Taste of Coral Gables, A Culinary Tour and Recipes from the City Beautiful. The cookbook features famed restaurants, chefs and recipes for some of the City’s most noteworthy dishes.
On Tuesday, September 17, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Ave, the community is invited to sip and taste delicious bites inspired by the cookbook, while getting their copy of the cookbook signed by top chefs in attendance. The tickets for the event are $45 each or two for $80 and includes a copy of the cookbook. Proceeds will go to the Coral Gables High School Culinary Arts Program.

“We wanted to say thank-you to our restaurant partners and celebrate the spectacular culinary offerings in our community,” said Raúl Valdés-Fauli, Mayor for the City of Coral Gables. “Our restaurants and retailers are an integral part of what makes Coral Gables an unparalleled live, work, play destination and what better way to celebrate that than with a keepsake cookbook filled with beloved recipes.”
To celebrate the launch of the cookbook, the City, along with its partners at the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Business Improvement District of Coral Gables and the Coral Gables Community Foundation, have come together to host an evening of culinary delight on September 17, as listed above.
