Construction Of Public Safety Building Is Progressing

The construction of the Public Safety Building, located at 2151 Salzedo Street, is progressing.

The last concrete pour at the slab on the grade level, which covers the main electrical room, transformer room, police bay and delivery area was completed. Construction continued in the first floor to frame interior walls and place door frames. The installation of fire sprinkler piping, plumbing piping, mechanical ductwork and electrical conduit is also on-going.

Work for the second and third floors consists of installing windows, roughing in electrical and fire alarm conduit. The installation of the cable tray for low voltage systems, exterior insulation and exterior wall framing is also underway. The layout and framing of interior walls on the fourth and fifth floor, and the installation of windows, electrical and fire alarm began this month as well.
