One of the women appeared to fight back tears as a Miami judge urged her to find other employment.

"You’re a smart girl. If you want to live to see age 20 you need to find a new line of employment," the judge scolded. "Very risky thing you are doing for somebody with a lot of potential such as yourself. You need to stay away from them."

Police said Charlotin and UM students Acacia Friedman and Maury Noun were working together in an alleged prostitution ring that was taken down on Wednesday night at the upscale Hotel Colonnade, 180 Aragon Ave. in Coral Gables.

Charlotin, of the 12000 block of SW 146 Lane in Miami, was charged with prostitution and drug offenses after police found a small amount of marijuana and an oxycodone pill in her wallet.

The 23-year-old Friedman, of the 3300 block of Crown Point Drive in San Diego, was also charged with prostitution, while 21-year-old Maury W. Noun was identified as their pimp.

Noun is charged with aiding prostitution and related offenses.

According to arrest documents, Noun took an Uber to the hotel on Wednesday and sent the two woman up to a hotel room where they would meet with an undercover detective posing as someone looking for sex.

Noun met with another undercover detective at the outside patio seating area of the hotel restaurant where he negotiated a $10,000 price tag for the night and allegedly accepted a partial payment of $3,000.

Meanwhile, the second undercover detective allegedly handed Friedman another $5,000 and steered the conversation to what the women would be willing to do for it.

"The defendant replied, 'it's to hang out,'" the arrest document said, referring to Friedman. The officer then asked the girls to elaborate on what they would be willing to do for the money. "The defendant responded, 'it's all about you.'"

The undercover detective allegedly pressed for more details, asking if he could have sex without a condom if he paid more.

Friedman confirmed that the price would be higher, and the officer backed off, saying that he would stick to the original plan of sex with a condom since, after all, he told them, he had brought some condoms with him.

The two college women allegedly said that they brought condoms as well, and Charlotin asked the officer whether he wanted to have sex with both of them at the same time or just one first and then the other.

The officer allegedly told Charlotin that he would prefer to have one woman at a time, but that if she wanted to "join in" that was up to her.

It was at that point that the officer gave the "take down signal" to other police who were standing by, according to arrest documents.
