$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Dunedin
The jackpot rolled over Wednesday night, bringing the estimated prize up to $675 million, the largest in history.

DUNEDIN, FL — While no one took home the $524 million jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, someone in the Tampa Bay area is $1 million richer for playing.
The Florida Lottery announced on its Facebook page Thursday morning that two $1 million tickets were sold in the Sunshine State. One of the tickets was sold in Dunedin, the other in Fort Lauderdale. The winners’ names haven’t been released as of yet.
With no jackpot winner in Wednesday’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot rolls over for its next draw on Saturday, Jan. 9. Lottery officials say the estimated jackpot now stands at $675 million, the “highest jackpot ever offered in the game’s history.”
