Or “we don’t like it, so we’re not very enthusiastic when we talk about it with customers.” Or “we don’t understand your techniques, so it seems overpriced.” Or, “it looks like you don’t know what you’re doing because it’s underpriced.” Or, “most of our price points are under $50, so your award-winning, highly-praised $5,000 painting creates sticker shock.” Or, as in the case of the 50 knitted sheep, “It doesn’t sell well because we didn’t know where to put it, so we stuck it behind that table over there.” [...]
