• $300,000 donation moves Dunedin Boat Club closer to rebuilding clubhouse (baynews9.com) — A major $300,000 gift from David and Nancy Bilheimer has pushed the Dunedin Boat Club much closer to rebuilding its long-lost waterfront clubhouse, damaged in the 2024 hurricane season. Fundraisers say about $250,000 more is needed toward a $1 million goal for the new city-owned center, which would again host youth sailing, adaptive programs, and multiple local boating groups.
