• Dunedin bans launching motorized watercraft from south side of Causeway over safety concerns (tampabay28.com) — Dunedin has officially banned launching motorized watercraft from the south side of the Causeway, a move city leaders say will improve safety for swimmers and paddlers and protect recovering seagrass. The new ordinance, enforced by Pinellas deputies, follows jet ski fatalities and dozens of incidents, and will redirect boaters to nearby public and private ramps instead.
