The City of Dunedin cordially invites the public to attend a grand opening ceremony of Oak Tree Plaza located at the intersection of Main Street and the Pinellas trail in downtown Dunedin on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will feature the Mayor of Dunedin Dave Eggers, Director of the Vinnie Luisi, city officials, business owners and other members of the community.
The ceremony’s purpose is to highlight the recently completed trailside park improvement including the installation of a linear brick-paved walkway that provides improved access to storefronts, outdoor seating and landscaping.
During the ceremony a commemorative plaque will be dedicated at the base of the grand oak tree in the plaza that is estimated to be 150 years old.
