In Pinellas, protesters will meet at the intersection of McMullen Booth Road and State Road 580 starting at 4 p.m. in Clearwater.
Progress Florida, Florida Watch Action and America Votes started Awake the State with a Facebook page.
It grew from there.
There are 31 rallies planned throughout the state. The Awake the State Facebook page has 5,900 'likes.'
