Date: Friday, July 3rd
Celebrate Independence Day with Dunedin Goes Carting's Patriotic Golf Cart Parade!
Decorate your golf cart in red, white, and blue and join us as we parade through downtown Dunedin. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative patriotic decorations. Golf Carts Only Please
Event Schedule
Staging Opens: 5:00 PM (please do not arrive early)
Parade Begins: 6:00 PM (see spectator route map below)
Staging Area: Parking lot at Virginia Street and Orange Avenue
Parade Route: From Mease Manor through downtown Dunedin (see route map for details)
After the Parade
Continue the celebration at VFW Post 2550 or park at TD Ballpark and enjoy the City of Dunedin's Hometown USA celebration featuring live entertainment, family activities, food and beverages, and a fireworks show.
Registration is only needed for participating carts.
Registration is FREE.
Please register your golf cart in advance and print your ticket with the QR code. Display the ticket on your windshield when entering the staging area.
Participants without a visible ticket will be redirected to register before entering the parade.
Parade Guidelines
• No items may be thrown from carts
• No confetti cannons
• No stopping and exiting carts during the parade
• Drivers must obey all traffic laws and parade instructions
• Political signs, campaign materials, and political activities are not permitted
