County Budget Town Hall Meeting in St. Pete Tonight
Another opportunity to share your input.

The Pinellas County commisioners meet tonight for a town hall meeting in St. Petersburg to discuss the budget deficit.
Property taxes make up 65 percent of the county’s general fund. Dramatic decreases in property values caused by the economic recession has slowly dried up the county's general fund over the past five years, and commissioners are seeking public comment in evaluating its budget and determining what departments and services should be cut to make up for the deficit.
A town hall garnered lots of public discussion.Â
