Creative Keys partners with MusicLink Foundation, offering music scholarships to low-income students

A new partnership between Creative Keys and MusicLink Foundation opens the door for low-income students to learn to play an instrument

Creative Keys music studio, located in Dunedin, has been in business for 12 years (family owned and operated) giving private and group music lessons to students ages 4 to adult. The studio offers lessons on piano, voice, guitar, bass, violin, viola, drums, woodwinds, banjo, ukulele, harp, and more. There are currently 220 enrolled students and 15 instructors. Summer camps and homeschool classes are also available. The studio website is www.creativekeysinc.com and studio number is 727-736-8018.

Creative Keys has just begun a partnership with MusicLink Foundation, a top-rated nonprofit that offers the opportunity for low-income students to take private music lessons. Students may be nominated by a teacher or other community leader or the student’s parent or guardian may apply. Students who are accepted into the program receive a scholarship toward private lessons. MusicLink Foundation’s statistics are quite impressive: 99% of MusicLink students go on to college and 39% received college scholarships.

More information on how to apply for a scholarship can be found on the MusicLink Foundation website at www.musiclinkfoundation.org
