- In an act to bring their customers together, two of Dunedin's oldest bars recently hosted an inaugural Dunedin Dive Bar Olympics. The owners of Simon's Pub on Union Street and Sully's Tavern on Patricia Avenue created the event which featured darts, beer pong, billiards and indoor shuffleboard. Eight teams of two people were procured from each bar and battled it out for 10 hours. While they have some kinks to work out, the first Dunedin Dive Bar Olympics were a huge success, and plans are already in the works for another similar event! (TBN Weekly)
