Dunedin Beachbody Finalist Seeks Community Votes To Win $100,000
After being diagnosed as prediabetic by his doctor, Matthew Carlucci knew he needed to make a change.

DUNEDIN, FL — Matthew Carlucci has been named a finalist in the Beachbody Challenge – a nationwide fitness and health transformation competition from Beachbody On Demand that aims to inspire people to achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
After being diagnosed as prediabetic by his doctor, Carlucci knew he needed to make a change. He felt that because of his weight, he was becoming tired and depressed. He was inspired to take control of the situation by using Beachbody’s on-demand fitness system. With a combination of fitness, nutrition and support, Carlucci lost 87 pounds and has kept it off for more than three years by taking advantage of Beachbody’s offerings.
Carlucci transformed his body and reduced his weight from 247 pounds to 160 pounds. He said he now sleeps better, feels more focused, and his blood work couldn’t be better.

As a finalist, Carlucci will receive a minimum prize of $15,000 in honor of his fitness journey, with the chance to take home the grand prize of $100,000. The grand prize winner will be decided next month by the online community, who can vote for the hero whose story inspires them the most at BeachbodyChallenge.com.
