Here are the top three stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Nobody can post to the Dunedin Fine Art Center's Facebook page despite it being restored on Apr. 24. The center's page was disabled by an automated Facebook system after the center's communication director attempted to post an image containing nudity. While the post met the website's Community Standards, artificial intelligence disabled the page; the center has been unsuccessful at reaching Facebook tech help. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
  2. Pinellas County plans to address affordable housing issues by selling surplus land to developers. County leaders have identified 19 pieces of land that would be appropriate for affordable housing. The Pinellas County Commissioners have already started advertising the surplus land to developers. (ABC Action News Tampa Bay)
  3. Graduation rates for Black students at Pinellas County Public Schools have risen to 86.3 percent. That rate is a full percentage point higher than in 2021 and 29.9 percent higher than in 2013. This new data shows that the Bridging the Gap plan is working, closing the gap between the graduation rates of Black and non-Black students. (St Pete Catalyst)
