No Explosives Found At Dunedin High

A bomb threat was called into the school late Thursday morning.

DUNEDIN, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has given an all-clear on the Dunedin High School campus following a Thursday morning bomb threat.

Deputies and K9s searched the 1651 Pinehurst Road school for several hours and came up empty handed, the agency wrote in an email to media. No explosives and nothing suspicious was found, deputies said.

The school was evacuated Thursday morning about of “an abundance of caution,” the agency reported.

While a bomb was not found, the agency is continuing its investigation into just who might be responsible for the call that sparked off the search. The call came in shortly after 11 a.m.
