If tickets for tonight's game are purchased through the Church of the Good Shepherd, $3 of the $6 ticket price will go to a year-long goal of getting 10,000 long-lasting mosquito nets for the NetsforLife Fund. Every $12 buys a net and education in sub-Sahara Africa, reducing the risk of malaria.
In addition, there will be face painters, a raffle of Jays merchandise and a 50/50 raffle adding to the fun.
The Jays have their regular "Thirsty Thursday" promotion at the ballpark this evening with $1 beer and sodas.
