he Bay Pines VA commemorates Memorial Day with a ceremony at the Bay Pines National Cemetery. This is the only National Cemetery in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and the largest observance of Memorial Day with over 3,000 expected attendees.The ceremony includes a performance from the Clearwater High School Marine Corps JROTC Silent Drill Team as well as guest speakers, musical performances, a firing salute, and "Taps."
Shuttles will be provided to the cemetery from nearby parking lots. A sign language intepreter also will be available for the hearing impaired.
