Reiki is a Japanese energy balancing modality that promotes healing and relaxation. It channels Chi, Prana, or Universal life-force energy to a recipient while they rest fully-clothed. Reiki is safe for everyone, complements all other modalities, and effectively addresses anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic or acute pain, PTSD, grief, burn-out, and much more. Reiki recipients feel lighter, brighter, and more relaxed after a session, and it is quite normal to fall asleep during treatment. Sensations range from tingling, wavy pressure, heat, and heavy or floaty limbs, to visions of colors or a sense of spiritual awareness. Stepping out of the busy Beta brainwave, that "Fight or Flight" response, and shifting to an Alpha or Theta brainwave and the "Rest and Restore" mode, allows your Parasympathetic Nervous System vital time to work its healing wonders. All of my Reiki is hands-off, not only to honor your personal space but also to encourage deep relaxation into that lovely Theta brainwave state. Reiki is not a religion, does not conflict with any religious or spiritual framework, and does not require belief to be effective. It sounds "woo" but feels amazing! Reiki offers a safe, natural, non-invasive, and holistic approach to authentic wellness, and can help you become your favorite version of yourself. NEW DATE - Wednesday, July 8th 5pm to 7 pm...Join Beadster Studio at Roxie K Boutique in downtown Dunedin on Wednesday July 8th at 5pm to make your own custom coastal Sea Glass Suncatcher. This is a beginner friendly class and Kathy from Beadster Studio will guide you through the steps to design and assemble a five strand suncatcher that you will be proud to hang in a window or in your garden!

We will be working with various shapes of cultured Sea Glass and wire to create components that will then be connected together to form the strands for the suncatcher. The strands will then be attached to wood with a cord added for hanging.
The workshop includes a selection of sea glass shapes and colors for you to choose from and all additional materials needed to complete your suncatcher.
IMPORTANT - This is a solid 2 hour class so we will start promptly at 5 pm! It is hard to catch up after we begin. **Feel free to arrive early and enjoy browsing the boutique!

Featuring a cast of neurotypical and neurodivergent performers working side-by-side, Willy
Wonka Jr. celebrates inclusion, creativity, and the belief that every child deserves the
opportunity to shine. Supported by a team of professional directors, teaching artists, mentors,
and volunteers, these young performers have spent weeks bringing this beloved story to life in a
way that is joyful, accessible, and uniquely Progressive Arts Theater.
