This workshop focuses on the practical application of imagery techniques to increase function of the pelvic joints and muscles. To balance the action of the hip joints, we will experience the natural bone rhythms. Thus, the health of the low back, knees and feet will increase. An understanding of sacral movement for creating efficient movement will also be experienced.
You will learn:
- What imagery is and how to use it to improve how you feel and move
- Applied proprioception
- Imagery as a tool for learning, moving and enjoying life
- Pelvic evolution and anatomy
- Bone rhythms and science based related imagery
- Simple exercises to improve alignment, joint function and flexibility
IMPORTANT NOTE: Workshop is being held inside the Dunedin Pilates Studio within the Back N Balance Wellness complex. Reservation preferred.
