Interested in helping abused and neglected children? The Guardian ad Litem program in Pinellas County is seeking people to advocate in court and in the child-welfare system for abused, neglected, or abandoned children.
As a Guardian ad Litem, you are a volunteer who visits the child each month, becomes familiar with the child’s case, and makes recommendations to the court to help ensure the child has a safe, caring, and stable home. These volunteers spend an average of 10 hours a month on cases.
No prior experience is necessary. An experienced supervisory and legal staff provides training and support.
