Cheap gas: Just after midnight this morning, Super Shop, located at 1001 Broadway, was reported by GasBuddy.com to have the cheapest gas in Dunedin. There, a regular gallon of unleaded is $3.44.

Styx tickets: Styx is scheduled to rock Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater Sunday, June 3 and the Dunedin chapter of the New World Celts will offer up a pair in a silent auction with proceeds to go to the group. Face value for the tickets is $79 each. Included in the pair of tickets to see Styx, is a preshow pass to a private member lounge with complimentary wine and champagne. Bidding starts at $50. To prepare a bid, send your offer to dunedin@newworldceltsinc.org. The bidding will close May 25 at 5 p.m.
Celtic concert: The Celtic band Seven Nations will perform at Dunedin High School May 19 as part of the school's 50th anniversary. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. There are also $10 premium seats available, in addition to $25 VIP packages that include a meet-and-greet with the band, refreshments and snacks prior to the show. Advance tickets are available at Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, The Celtic Shop of Dunedin, Lothian Kilt Rental and Bagpipe Supplies as well as Dunedin high and middle schools.

Fun at San Jose Elementary: Though the school year is winding down, it doesn't mean the end to events at various schools. On May 21, San Jose Elementary will host a combined Spring Chorus concert for fourth and fifth graders along with a fifth grade science showcase. The events begin at 6:30 p.m. at the school's cafeteria.
