Cattle were introduced into North America when Juan Ponce de León brought Spanish cows to Florida in 1521. Bob Stone’s multi-media presentation explores and celebrates the history and culture of the nation’s oldest cattle ranching state from the colonial period to the 21st century.

The Smithsonian’s The Way We Worked is available for viewing Wed. - Sun., 10 am to 3 pm through Dec. 13th at the Palm Harbor Museum, 2043 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor, corner of Curlew and Belcher Roads. Admission is free.
