Missing Dunedin Man Located

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – An elderly man reported missing Thursday night from his home in Dunedin was safely located in Georgia, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said this morning.

Michael Mccuster "has been located by authorities in Georgia. He is in good physical condition and he will be reunited with his family later today," the agency said, adding that the Silver Alert was canceled.

The 69-year-old, who suffers from medical conditions and the early onset of dementia, reportedly on Thursday left his home on Howell Court after telling family members that he was leaving and made statements he would possibly harm himself, deputies said.
