MLK Jr. Celebration Planned In Dunedin
The Jan. 16 event will include a march and ceremony.

DUNEDIN, FL — Join the City of Dunedin as it celebrate the works and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, Jan. 16. The celebration is being presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation in partnership with Dunedin Public Library and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
It will include a march for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. starting at 9:30 a.m. at the MLK Jr. Recreation Center, 550 Laura Lane and ends at Weaver Park, 1258 Bayshore Blvd.
There will be entertainment and a ceremony immediately following, until about 12:30 p.m. at Weaver Park. There will be entertainment, readings of the winning student essays about diversity and a guest speaker celebrating the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A bagged breakfast will be provided for all attendees.
