Dunedin Hope Spot Youth Summit Planned For Saturday

Events include learning opportunities, a watch party, and activities and challenges for kids.

DUNEDIN, FL — Join the city of Dunedin for an in-depth look at local efforts and initiatives to protect Florida's only Hope Spot.

The Tampa Bay Estuary Program, Florida Aquarium, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, Sanibel-Captive Conservation Foundation and the City of Dunedin is offering learning opportunities, videos and podcasts aimed at educating the community and celebrating the Hope Spot.

There will be special prizes for winners during the Hope Spot Youth Summit with Dr. Sylvia Earle on Oct. 10th at 3 p.m. Join Earle and her sidekick, Shannon the Shark, for an inspirational talk about the Florida Gulf Coast Hope Spot and protecting the world's oceans. Join via Zoom here.
