Pinellas County Announces Labor Day Weekend Closures
County parks and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open on Monday.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Departments including Building Development Review Services, Human Services and Veterans Services will be closed Monday as well.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session Monday except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

County parks and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open on the holiday. Boat ramps and beach access areas will also be open.
The Parks and Conservation Resources administration office will be closed and beach and boat ramp passes will not be available for sale.

The outdoor areas of the county preserves will remain open Monday, but the Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center and Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Heritage Village will also be closed on Monday. Its regular operating hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3), 2855 109th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, will be closed on Monday.
The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open holiday hours on Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed Monday as well.
Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Tuesday, Sept., 8, but some facilities may have reduced operations due to coronavirus restrictions.
