Pinellas County Offices To Close In Observance Of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
County parks and Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open on the holiday.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County Government offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session on Monday, Jan. 18, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18; however, the Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3) will be closed.

Parks and Conservation Resources administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, however annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will be available for sale online at http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/default.htm.

The outdoor areas of the county’s preserves will be open. The Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center and Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center will not be. Both centers’ regular operating hours are Thursday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Heritage Village will also be closed. Regular operating hours for Heritage Village are Wednesdays - Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will also be closed on Monday, Jan. 18.
All Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
