Pinellas County Offices To Close To Observe New Year’s Day
Most offices will close on Friday, Jan. 1, but county parks will be open.
Most offices to close on Friday, Jan. 1 and will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Jan. 4. County parks will be open.
Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.

Building Services, Human Services and Veterans Services offices and the courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will be closed.
The Solid Waste Disposal Facility, Solid Waste Administration Building, and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3) will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2021 in observance of New Year’s Day. The Solid Waste Disposal Facility and HEC3 will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

The Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Administration Office, Heritage Village and the education centers at Brooker Creek and Weedon Island will also be closed. However, County parks and preserves, The Florida Botanical Gardens and County boat ramps and beach access areas will remain open. Because administration offices are closed, annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will be available for sale online at http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/default.htm.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will close on New Year’s Day but will open for normal hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2.
The rest of Pinellas County facilities will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Jan. 4.
