Here are the top three stories today in Dunedin:

  1. In honor of Dunedin Pride, Dunedin Pet Supply is hosting a Puppy Pride Party TODAY between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bring your furry friends to sniff out what Grandma Lucy's Dog Food, Pup Popz Frozen popsicles and Pupnic Baskets have to offer and snack on some free samples. It's the perfect opportunity to pick up some Pride gear for your pup, as they'll be selling Pride bandanas, t-shirts, treats, toys and more. Learn more about the event online. (Dunedin Pet Supply via Facebook)
  2. Dunedin Highland Middle School is getting a new principal. Brandon Glenn is currently the principal of McLane Middle in Hillsborough County and will take over at DHMS starting July 1. Glenn is replacing Principal Michael Vasallo, who has been reassigned to be an assistant principal at Largo High School. (TBN Weekly)
  3. The Downtown Dunedin Hearts Full of Pride 5K is scheduled for Sunday at 8 a.m. in Weaver Park. Registration includes an armband for runners over the age of 21 which can be redeemed at Dunedin HOB anytime before noon. The 5K is a dog-friendly event open to all ages and abilities. Or, you can register your children for the Kids Dash along the trail and they'll receive their own "kid-friendly" finisher's medal! Learn more about the event and how to register online. (Active)
