Goulds Travel Services Owner Moves Travel Agency from Palm Harbor into a Mobile Enterprise in Dunedin

Dunedin, Florida - August 19, 2014 - Goulds Travel Services is in the process of turning it’s Palm Harbor location into a mobile business by providing seamless travel services around the world.

Goulds Travel Services was established in Palm Harbor approximately 4 years ago. As co-owner of International Food Mart in Dunedin, and owner of Goulds Travel Services, Steven Gould understands the potential of new businesses in the great City of Dunedin. Having a wide customer base spanning around the globe, Goulds Travel Services strives to bring the utmost customer service to each personalized travel experience. The move from Palm Harbor to Dunedin stems from Goulds Travel’s unprecedented growth in the last year thus enabling Steven to maintain closer contact with customers from numerous locations while keeping overhead costs at a minimum. Moving the agency’s headquarters into an already established business will provide Steven an opportunity to lower costs, in turn passing the savings onto his clients. Working in hospitality, Steven understands that hotels, flights, and cruise lines do not close at 5pm. As such, by creating a Mobile Enterprise, he plans on keeping non-standardized hours for the agency and has decided to create the mobile enterprise to no longer be tied to a desk, but rather be given the opportunity to meet new and existing travelers at International Food Mart, at their home, or in other off-site locations. While many travel professionals and real estate agents have decided to become “home-based”, Steven believes that creating the Mobile Enterprise will jump-start various marketing techniques by being part of localized teams with other small businesses, rather than signing standardized leases and contractual agreements.

“At the end of the day, it comes down to saving money. If I am able to cut costs and expenses on the front-end, I will be able to pass the discounts and savings on to my clients. Since most of my sub-agents are located throughout the United States, creating a Mobile Enterprise is the best course of action at this point. I may reestablish a dedicated store-front location in the future as local staffing comes into the mix, but for right now, this is the best move for the company,” says Steven Gould.
