Veterans get Designation on their Driver's License

The designation, a "V", will be available to all veterans with proof of service.

Veterans are now eligible for a special designation on their driver’s license.

The designation will come as a letter “V” on the driver’s license or identification card.

Veterans wanting the designation will still need to pay the fee of $25 for the license replacement fee, as well as a one-time $1 fee and a $6.25 service fee. One hundred percent disabled veterans and those with currently expired licenses are exempt from the $25 fee.
